Brief Life History of Joseph

When Maj. Joseph Tunnicliff was born on 17 February 1758, in Derbyshire, England, his father, John Tunnicliff, was 42 and his mother, Mary Woodhouse, was 27. He married Abigail Smith on 28 April 1778, in Amherst, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. He died on 5 December 1825, in Exeter, Otsego, New York, United States, at the age of 67.

As of 10/5/2023 I have not received notification that he has been accepted as one of our Patriots. It usually take 18 months for the application is processed. 12 April 2024 - nothing heard yet....
