Lindgren Winch Revolutionary Soldiers - Thomas Winch Sr.

 I found in the Massachusetts archives this volume:

Massachusetts soldiers and sailors of the Revolutionary War. A compilation from the archives. Images 596 to 597. On page 597 is a Thomas Winch of Framingham.

Below his entry is another Thomas Winch which I believe to be his son.

NOTE: Am not sure about this Thomas Winch Sr.

WINCH, THOMAS, Framingham  (also given Norfolk). List of men raised to serve in the Continental Army from 2d co., 5th Middlesex Co., regt., as returned by Lieut. Lawson Buckminster to Col. Micah Stone; residence, Framingham; engaged for town of Framingham; joined Capt. Brewer's Co., Col Brewers regt.; term, 3 years; also, Fifer, Major's co., Ebenezer Sprout's regt.; Continental Army pay accounts for service from May 11,  1777, to  May 15, 1780; also, Private, Capt. Brewer's co,  Col.  Brewer's regt; return dated Valley Forge, Jan. 23, 1778; residence, Norfolk; enlisted for town of Norfolk; mustered by State, Muster, Master.

I submitted the paperwork to the DAR in July of 2023. I am a current member in the DAR, in good standing in August 2023. Jeremiah's DAR Ancestor number is: A050046. As of 10/5/2023 I have not received notification that he has been accepted as one of our Patriots. It usually take 18 months for the application is processed. 12 April 2024 - nothing heard yet....
